HSBC Creates New Position for CIO
Andrew Armishaw has been appointed Chief Technology and Services Officer for HSBC

HSBC has promoted CIO, Andrew Armishaw to a newly created role of Chief Technology and Services Officer for HSBC " North America.
The Chief Technology and Services Officer of HSBC was developed as part of a global initiative to create a common business framework for core support functions across the company.
As CIO, Armishaw is and will remain responsible for ensuring that HSBC's Information Technology and Operations teams are working closely together to enhance the customer experience, create greater consistency in how HSBC operates, and improve economies of scale across businesses.
Additionally, Armishaw is now responsible for the Security & Fraud,
Corporate Real Estate, and various operational functions for HSBC - North
America.
