Sendside Releases New Communications Solution for Hedge Fund and Brokerage Clients The new tool enables organizations to deliver important content in a secure multi-dimensional message combining web, audio, video and print content. By Melanie Rodier March 25, 2009 Sendside Networks, a communications vendor, announced the release of a new communications tool for brokerage and hedge fund clients, that can combine web content, audio, video, Flash or existing print collateral and deliver it in a single, multi-dimensional message.
Sendside Packages allows organizations to pre-package and send important, confidential and complex information to their customer prospects and business partners. Advanced reporting and analytics provide the sender with key information on when a Package is opened and what content is viewed, Sendside said. The solution aligns marketing and sales efforts with a central location for content, ensuring that only approved content is used, and facilitating faster follow-up on customer requests, according to Sendside. The Salt Lake City, UT-based company says the result is shorter sales cycles, immediate efficiencies, reduced risk and compliance where required. "With Sendside Packages, we're effectively eliminating the need for multiple steps in the sales process and vastly simplifying the creation of custom sales presentations or complex media kits," William Borghetti, Sendside CEO, said in a release. "Our advanced reporting capabilities enable the sender to know in an instant that their Package was delivered, what content was accessed, whether a video was viewed and what documents have been read and downloaded."
Jeffrey D. Clark, CEO of third-party hedge fund administrator JD Clark & Company, added: "In an industry like hedge fund administration, confidentiality is critical, complete reporting is critical, and investors are requiring more timely and in depth reporting on their investments than ever before."
