New York Life Appoints SVP for Mergers & Acquisitions
John Grady, former Old Mutual strategy exec, joins NYL Corporate Finance Department.

John Grady has joined New York Life Insurance Co.'s (New York) Corporate Finance Department as a senior vice president responsible for the mergers-and-acquisitions area and the treasury department. He will report to EVP and CFO Michael Sproule. Previously, Grady worked at Old Mutual plc (London), most recently as EVP, global strategy and corporate development, with responsibility for long-term strategic planning implementation and merger-and-acquisition related activities. Mr. Before that, Grady was SVP and global treasurer of CDC IXIS Asset Management and also held various financial positions at Fleet Financial Group and The Boston Company.
