Sales Performance Management (SPM) solutions provider Callidus Software and outsourced benefits and talent management solutions provider Workscape have announced a joint marketing relationship. Under the partnership, the two vendors will seek to extend the functionality of their respective solutions -- Workscape (Marlborough, Mass.) Compensation Planner and Callidus (San Jose, Calif.) TrueComp Manager.
Workscape's Compensation Planner provides guidelines, budget control and approvals to all merit, bonus, stock and other elements of compensation planning for general employees. Meanwhile, Callidus TrueComp optimizes incentive compensation, drives revenue and aligns employee behavior with corporate objectives. According to a press release, the resulting joint solution set will allow Workscape to offer an end-to-end sales compensation management solution and Callidus to offer new functionality around salary and merit planning and stock option allocations.
"We are pleased to ally ourselves with Callidus Software to offer our customers a solution that enables them to improve control of their sales compensation processes. Through this alliance, we can provide our clients with access to a broader array of compensation solutions that are designed to introduce greater visibility and control to compensation practices across an enterprise," Tony Marzulli, chief marketing officer at Workscape, said in a press release.
"Our customers want a unified way to manage all aspects of compensation, from salaries to commissions to stock options," said Steve Apfelberg, senior vice president of marketing and business development at Callidus Software, added in the same press release. "Through our relationship with Workscape, we now offer software solutions to manage the full spectrum of employee and partner pay."
