Clearing House LCH to Use BT’s Radianz Network
Some members were already using the IP-based networking, now it will support European central counterparty clearing.

LCH.Clearnet Group, an independent clearing house in Europe, has chosen BT's Radianz network infrastructure to connect to its group members around the world. Many of LCH.Clearnet's members were already connected to the Radianz community, enabling BT to implement the extended solution quickly and to migrate those members to the use of BT's Radianz services across nine countries (France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and the UK) before the end of 2009.

The two companies say BT's Radianz services will help LCH reach geographically dispersed members and facilitate future growth.

LCH.Clearnet clears a range of asset classes including securities, exchange traded derivatives, energy, freight, interbank interest rate swaps and euro and sterling denominated bonds and repos.
