SunGard has rolled out its new Ambit Enterprise Banking Suite (Ambit EBS), a front-to-middle-office retail banking offering for retail and corporate banks.

Ambit EBS is based on a service-oriented architecture and is designed to integrate data from traditional back-office systems, point solutions and external applications to give a complete, 360 view of a customer's relationship with the bank. Ambit EBS is built using SunGard's Infinity Process Platform.

The new product suite offers a single customer-centric platform that can consolidate retail banking operations across channels and front-offices operations, says the company. It can help customer-facing staff make quicker, more informed decisions and deliver higher levels of customer service. It can also help banks respond to ongoing industry demands and regulatory changes such as Know Your Customer, according to SunGard.

Ambit EBS also provides banks with business process management across channels to help eliminate redundant and manual processing, from day-to-day teller transactions to complex loan origination processing.
