CastleOak Names New Sales, Trading Head

CastleOak Securities has appointed Val Guilford senior managing director and head of its equity sales and trading business.
In a statement David Jones, President and Chief Executive Officer of CastleOak, said, "Val is a tremendous asset to CastleOak. He brings over 15 years of experience, an impressive track record and deep industry relationships that will further strengthen our business. Throughout his career Val has been an exceptional institutional equity trader and has proven to be a remarkable locator of liquidity. Adding a professional with Val's level of expertise is vital to our emphasis on providing exceptional service and execution to our clients, and to the growth of our firm."
Previously Guilford was president and head global trader at Magna Securities Corp. and also served as co-chief executive officer of Magna Securities Global.
