Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida (BCBSFL, Jacksonville) has selected Medversant Technologies' (Los Angeles) OneSource Web-based credentials verification solutions in order to streamline administrative processes, reduce costs and gain real-time access to continually verified provider information, according to a Medversant source.
According to the vendor, OneSource automates physician credentials verification and allows the records to be viewed in real time through a Web-based platform that is updated and available at any time. The technology allows for transparency, which is critical for the full outsourcing of this important business process, Medversant asserts. Provider data is continuously monitored and updated through OneSource, and includes an automatic status alert when changes occur. This capability allows for true cost-effective, enterprise-wide continuous provider data integrity, which will take BCBSFL to the next level, in the vendor's characterization.
