Mutual of Omaha (Omaha, Nebraska) has gone live on FINEOS Claims, according to a FINEOS release. Mutual of Omaha will use the system to manage claims operations for its group employee benefits products, including short and long-term disability products.

"We are very pleased that FINEOS Claims has been successfully deployed," comments Kathy Brown, director of group insurance claims, Mutual of Omaha. "We believe we now have the platform for a best-in-class solution that supports our growing lines of business, positions us to deliver a more efficient claims process and maintains the exceptional levels of service that MoO customers have come to expect."

The FINEOS solution replaces an in-house-built legacy system at Mutual of Omaha. The new solution presents information to claims managers and administrators in a comprehensive, easy-to-navigate system, as described by the vendor. The solution is built to deliver rules-driven business process management capabilities, which allow Mutual of Omaha's business users the flexibility to make changes or modify processes as their workflows evolve and are optimized, the FINEOS source claims. The FINEOS Claims solution is built on the FINEOS Insurance Platform which encompasses the highly scalable and innovative FINEOS Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), the vendor source adds.
