DST Global Solutions announced that AEGON Religare Life Insurance Company has implemented AWD as its business process management solution.

AEGON Religare Life Insurance is a joint venture between AEGON Group and Religare in India.

AEGON's implementation of AWD is designed to enable automation of client recording processes, life insurance procedures and other significant process improvements, according to a release.

It will also enable AEGON to enhance customer service in India, as well as reduce manual processes and maximize productivity, while also expanding operations in India, the release said.

"AWD will better facilitate AEGON Religare Life Insurance's goal of opening branch offices in different geographic locations. Further, as AWD provides for a centralized view of all transactions, staff productivity can be measured throughout the enterprise and bottlenecks quickly addressed and resolved," Rhonda Lepsch, CEO for the Asia Pacific region at DST Global Solutions, said in the release.

"I am confident that AWD will also assist AEGON Religare Life Insurance to achieve increased efficiency and quality of service while helping it to minimise overall transaction costs."
