CME Group’s ClearPort Service Expanded, New API Launched

CME Group is expanding its CME ClearPort service to include clearing for CME and CBOT ex-pit transactions.
Starting December 7 clearing of commodity and interest rate ex-pit transactions will be available through CME ClearPort with equity and FX products available on December 21.
An updated CME ClearPort API and GUI are also being rolled out to provide additional means for OTC market participants to submit matched trades to CME Group for clearing.
The enhanced API and GUI streamline the trade capture process by letting users electronically submit trade details directly from the system at the point of execution.
