Investment Technology Group (ITG) added fixed-income capabilities to its transition services, hiring Victor Fontana to head the new unit. Fontana's appointment expands ITG's existing equity transition services offering and provides transition management over multiple asset classes.

Fontana previously was president of First Principle, a division of Northeast Services. "I specialized in the fixed-income transition services aspect of the business," he says. "Coming to ITG allows me to combine that with ITG's already existing equity transition services to provide a complete solution to every asset class that could be evolved."
